How To Apply?

To apply your startup Idea/ Innovation please note the following process:

1. You should thoroughly research your startup idea, its requirements, market, needs and purpose of service. Afterwards, complete and submit the online application form.
2. Make sure you are clear on the stage and scope of your startup.
3. Attach a basic business plan for your startup that briefly describe an Introduction, Problem Statement, Team Members, Market Size and Basic Financial Model.
4. All applications must be completed in English.
5. The application and the business plan will be received by our team; the application will go through evaluation process.
6. If you are selected, the team will email you for further instructions.

WILL TECH TOWN RAK PROVIDE FUNDING?

Tech Town RAK attracts investors to review profiles of its startups and facilitates introductions. The investments/funding is negotiated directly between the startups and the investors and will be subject to the investors’ terms, conditions, criteria and selection.

WHAT CRITERIA DO THE APPLICATION COMMITTEE CONSIDER WHEN JUDGING APPLICATIONS TO BE PART OF THE TECH TOWN RAK PROGRAMME?

Level of innovation of the proposed solution, Market potential of the project, Management team (number and profiles of the entrepreneurs). Teams of minimum two members is mandatory and Economic impact on the community in the form of job creation potential and contribution to the growth of the economic base

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE STARTUP FAILS TO SUSTAIN THEIR BUSINESS IDEA AND WISH TO WITHDRAW?

In the case a licensed startup wish to discontinue, Tech Town RAk and Issuing Authority will cancel trade license, lease and visas .
